On the train today, people needed energy. And coffee is not enough these days. So they get it from an energy drink concentrated with caffeine, sugar and some natural extracts claimed to wake up your body and mind.
It’s becoming increasingly popular. It used to be mostly tradies (physical workers). But now it’s becoming more common to see office workers sipping on this stuff. Two of the people sitting in front of me are on it. The young red-haired lady is sipping on it from a bright green can. The young guy sitting next to her has it in his bag, in a bigger bottle. He sipped a bit from it when he got on the train. I presume he is saving the rest for later on during the day. Didn’t seem to have much effect on him. His body and mind were still asleep. He was constantly yawning and rubbing his eyes.
I have a better cheaper energy fix. It’s called…. ZzZzZzZzz…
